Enterprise-Grade Security

Your Oracle credentials and data stay secure. We use the same authentication as Oracle.

No Credential Storage

We don't store your Oracle passwords. Authentication uses Oracle's JWT-based SSO.

Oracle Security Enforced

All data access respects your Oracle security policies. Users see only what they're allowed.

Role-Based Access

Access controlled by Oracle roles: XXFBDIBOT_USER for basic access, XXFBDIBOT_ADMIN for admin features.

Audit Trail

All imports are logged with user, timestamp, and results. Full visibility for compliance.

How It Works

From CSV to Oracle ERP Cloud in three simple steps.

1

Select Template

Choose from 34+ pre-configured FBDI templates. Each template knows the required columns, data formats, and validation rules for the specific Oracle import.

2

Upload & Map

Upload your CSV file and map columns to the template. The smart mapper suggests matches based on column names. Preview your data before importing.

3

Import & Monitor

Submit to Oracle ERP Cloud. We handle UCM upload, Interface Loader, and the module-specific import job. Monitor progress in real-time until completion.

4

Review Results

View import results with row counts, success rates, and any errors. Download detailed logs for troubleshooting. Failed rows are highlighted with fix suggestions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about FBDI Bot and Oracle integrations.

What is FBDI?

FBDI (File-Based Data Import) is Oracle's standard mechanism for bulk data imports into ERP Cloud. It uses CSV files uploaded to UCM (Universal Content Management), loaded into interface tables, then processed by module-specific import jobs.

Do I need to create Excel templates?

No. While Oracle provides XLSM templates, FBDI Bot generates the correct CSV format automatically from your data. Just upload your CSV and map the columns - we handle the rest.

How does authentication work?

FBDI Bot integrates with Oracle via Page Integration. Users access it from within Oracle ERP Cloud, and Oracle sends a signed JWT token. No separate login required - your Oracle identity is used automatically.

What happens if an import fails?

Failed imports show detailed error logs. We parse Oracle's log files and display row-level errors with the specific validation that failed. You can fix your data and re-import easily.

Can I schedule recurring imports?

Yes. Set up cron-based schedules for any import configuration. Define dependencies between jobs, retry policies, and notification preferences.

What Oracle versions are supported?

FBDI Bot supports Oracle Cloud releases 24A and later. Templates are version-aware and show compatibility information.

How are Oracle credentials handled?

For Page Integration users, no credentials are needed - authentication uses Oracle's JWT. For API imports, credentials can be stored securely in OCI Vault with AES-256 encryption.

What are the import limits?

Oracle allows up to 100,000 records per import, 5 concurrent imports, and 250MB maximum file size. FBDI Bot validates these limits before submission.
